We are reaching out to everyone in Pierce County – children, junior youth, youth, and adults – to invite them to join with us and explore their spiritual nature, which is their true self, and to inform them of Bahá’u’lláh’s Message. We have children’s classes, junior youth spiritual empowerment activities, study circles, and firesides. Some of our activities and successes were presented at our Unit Convention in October, where we met to elect our delegate to next year’s National Convention. Here are some photos. O ye recipients of the favours of God! In this new and wondrous Age, the unshakeable foundation is the teaching of sciences and arts. ‘Abdu’l-Bahá
The Bahá’í community in Tacoma and Pierce County had an information table about the Faith from Tuesday, October 9th through Friday, October 12th, 2018, at Tacoma Community College. Here are some photos from October 9th. We shared the space with tables from many other organizations. Photos by George Dannells.

Washington Cluster 19, which is Pierce County, recently observed its 52nd quarterly Cluster Reflection Meeting. Established by the Universal House of Justice, a cluster is a geographic area intended to assist us to think about the growth of the Faith. Its boundaries are determined based on factors relating to the general population, such as culture, language, patterns of transport, infrastructure, and the social and economic life of the inhabitants. Its purpose is to enable Baha’is in the area to work together to reach out to their friends and neighbors and invite them to spend time with us focusing on their spiritual natures, which is every soul’s true essence, and to introduce them to the Message of Baha’u’llah. The process of growth is, of course, fundamentally organic in nature: it is the movement of a population, propelled by mounting spiritual forces, in terms of a rich and dynamic continuum. Every three months we come together and review our recent progress and consider our next steps.
We reach out to all ages. We have children’s classes, junior youth spiritual empowerment programs (ages 11 – 14), study circles for adults and youth ages 15 years and up, devotional meetings, and firesides. If you are interested, please contact us through our email address and let us know what you are interested in for either yourself or your children. We will be in touch!
A view of some of those attending our recent Cluster Reflection Meeting. Here, we are reviewing information showing where we have made progress and where we are struggling.
