Paint the Change

Paint the Change is a global street art project for social justice. The Spiritual Assembly of the Bahá’ís of Tacoma collaborated with local artist Tiffanny Hammonds, who rendered this design on the side of the Family Investment Center building at 1724 East 44th Street, a space that Bahá’ís have used for many years. Type “Paint the Change” into your browser and get the website dedicated to this service, and then hit the “Education is Not a Crime” link at the top of the home page, where you will see examples of art from around the world. This cause originated as a protest against the Iranian government for its denial to Bahá’ís of the right to higher education. Our big Thank You! to the many people who contributed to help make this possible.
